   The first of a series of eight lectures delivered by Premier League football club AFC Bournemouth took place at BU’s Talbot Campus on Tuesday 10 January.

   MA Directing Film and Television student Sarah Mourad took top prize for her debut film, Quietly, at Baghdad International Film Festival

4. Multimedia Journalism students scoop prestigious industry award

   A website run by Multimedia Journalism students at Å·ÃÀÐÔ°®Æ¬Â was named Best Online News Site at the Broadcast Journalism Training Council awards.

5. Showcase your research at SURE 2022: Deadline for applications extended

   Submit your research abstracts by 21 January to showcase your undergraduate research at our SURE conference in March 2022.

6. Tourism Authority of Thailand plans to partner with BU

   A delegation from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) came to Å·ÃÀÐÔ°®Æ¬on 12 March to discuss developing a partnership with our School of Tourism that will benefit staff, students and TAT.

   Members of BU’s alumni community gave more than 1,200 hours of volunteering over the past academic year.

   Dr Mayers attended as part of the 1001 Critical Days All Party Parliamentary Group to discuss maternal mental health

    This year's Rock Star Awards saw ŷÃÀÐÔ°®Æ¬student Iain Christian win ‘Student Star of the Future.’
